Volo Bog Scholarship–Apps Due Mar 31

The Friends of Volo Bog is offering scholarships of $1,000 each for those entering college or continuing college education. Entering college applicants must live and attend high school in Lake, McHenry, Kane, Cook, DuPage, Kendall, or Will County have a minimum B average for the first three years, plan to attend an accredited college or university to study for a career directly related to preserving the natural environment. Applicants for the continuing college scholarship must be pursing a degree directly related to preserving the natural environment and have a B average, graduated from high school with a minimum B average and have a permanent residence in one of those counties. Applications are due by March 31. Visit <> and go to “About Us” and then “Scholarships.”
