The annual Greenbuild conference will be held in Chicago this November and in order to make it successful, the planning team is looking for college students and young professionals who can volunteer during the event. INTRODUCTION:

The Facilities, Planning and Management Department and the College of Letters and Sciences seeks a Sustainability and Science Outreach Assistant Coordinator (Operations Program Associate).

This is a full time, project position: 50% under Facilities, Planning and Management and 50% under the College of Letters and Sciences with an anticipated duration of one year from the start date. This project position will be subject to re-evaluation at the end of next fiscal year. This position will enhance the quality, frequency, and utility of communications and events about Sustainability Office and Science Outreach and related initiatives across the university to generate awareness and share successful stories and outcomes. It will develop, improve, and maintain the administration of the Sustainability Office and Science Outreach functions and support related faculty and staff. In addition, it will assist in the development of projects to pursue a more strategic and balanced program array. This is a one-year project position which will report to the Sustainability Coordinator within Facilities, Planning and Management and to the Science Outreach Coordinator within the College of Letters and Sciences. Time for each area of responsibility will be split evenly between the Sustainability and Science Outreach Offices.
