Several Entry-Level and Summer Positions Posted in Environmental Fields

There are some amazing local opportunities currently available for students and young professionals interested in a career related to environmental sciences. Some of these are summer positions (remember, hiring for the summer season starts early–like NOW!) and others are full or part-time beginning in the spring. Field Projects International–Enroll by November 18

Are you an undergraduate or recent graduateĀ interested in getting hands-on field experience? Field Projects International provides great opportunitiesĀ to travel and learn! Upcoming courses in Peru and India are focused on tropical entomology, primate-carnivore ecology, and vertebrate field biology. Ecology Internships–Chicago Audubon/Forest Preserve District

Here’s another internship opportunity with Audubon Chicago Region. In conjunction with Forest Preserves of Cook County, we’re looking for two Ecology interns to assist with the daily activities of the Ecology department at the District. Main tasks will include entering and managing data, assisting in generating plant and bird inventories of restoration sites, assessing current restoration sites, and identifying new stewardship sites!
